Don Bosco Feast 2025

A long awaited feast of the year, Feast of St John Bosco was celebrated. Fr. John Britto SDB, was the chief guest of the day and presided over the Holy Eucharist. Fr. Lourdusamy VF, Ulagamadha Church, Tiruvannamalai who briefly presented about St. John Bosco and the mission to the young People. Good number of Religious and well wishers and staff participated and grand dinner was served for all. Fr. Anto Sagayarj thanked and felicitated all the community

Past Pupil Meet 28 Jan 2024

In view of St John Bosco feast, this year it was decided to organize past pupil meet after long years. Invitation was sent to nearly one hundred students. and hoped to get at least 50 students. However, only 40 of them responded and turned up. 45minutes input session by Fr Anto and then Fr Christopher addressed them on the topic Election 2024. Special meal was served and before lunch, photo session was arranged.

Karthigai Deepam Celebration 26 Nov 2024

Tiruvannamalai district is known for karthigai deepam. Lakhs of people throng and make the celebration a very memorable one. The entire campus was decorated with light and students were encouraged to witness the grand celebration. After returning, special night prayer was organized to make students feel part of the celebration.

Past Pupils Meet 2025

The Alumni meeting was held on 26th January at Don Bosco SIHARAM, Tiruvannamalai. there was a good number past pupils were attended the program and re cherished their memories on that day. Fr. Anto Sagayaraj the Rector of the community thanked all the past pupils and they also shared about their feelings towards Don Bosco SIHARAM. they were awarded with some gifts and solemn lunch was provided.

BEST Students Expressed their Talents by their Performance 13 Aug 2024

BEST (Building Effective Solution Together) Project Evening study centre children gathered at SIHARAM for independence day celebration. Around 190 Children from 9 villages were present for morning session which included animation and video presentation on child right. Sumptuous lunch was serve followed by afternoon session in which students staged cultural program on various theme such as Addiction, child labour, education etc., after tea, students returned to their home.

Skit Competition for 3E Students 1 July 2024

With the intention of achieving goal, skit competition was conducted for 3E Students and they participated in it with eagerness. The enactment staged by the students surprised the Chief Guest Fr Praveen SDB, INM Vocation Promoter. He was very appreciative of students' performance and effort they had put in.

Some of Our Workers and Students Had Gone Short Trip to Sathanur Dam. 01 Sep 2024

A few supportive staff along with 3E Course students went to sathanur dam on September 1st after lunch by tourist mini bus, accompanied by Fr. Anto Sagayaraj SDB, the Rector and Administrator. It was more of a day of relaxation and enjoying the presence of each other. After tea on the way, reached back house at 7.00 pm.

Past Pupils Meet 2018

The 6th Annual Past pupils’ day celebration was held on 28th January 2018 (Sunday) at DB SIHARAM, Thiruvannamalai. Around 20 students belonging to various batches arrived at SIHARAM to relive their fond memories. The programme commenced at 11.30am with a brief moment of prayer led by Fr. Rector. He also formally welcomed the gathering, although small in number and briefed them about the Salesian community and its various activities and programmes. Followed by informal sharing by the participants about their present status and future plans. They also came forward with few suggestions and action plans to improve the attendance for the coming years. Finally the meeting ended with the Hymn to Don Bosco. All the participants enjoyed the fellowship meal and dispersed after 4.00pm.
